Kloud Connect today reaffirmed its commitment to supporting accounting firms as they prepare for the introduction of Tranche 2 AML/CTF reforms, expected from 1 July 2026.

As firms adapt to new obligations around client due diligence, risk assessments and ongoing compliance, Kloud Connect is focused on enabling practical, scalable workflows within its platform—while working alongside leading industry providers who specialise in AML.

Rather than developing its own AML compliance tools, Kloud Connect is taking an integration-led approach. The platform is actively engaging with a range of established AML and compliance providers to support interoperability, giving firms the flexibility to adopt trusted solutions that best suit their governance frameworks and operational needs.

“Firms are dealing with a diverse set of requirements and system configurations,” said Dan Beck, CEO of Kloud Connect. “Our role is not to dictate which AML tools they should use, but to ensure their workflows are connected, efficient and fit for purpose as these reforms come into effect.”

Kloud Connect is currently in discussions with several providers across the AML and compliance ecosystem, including platforms offering identity verification, client onboarding, risk profiling and audit trail capabilities. Integration priorities will be guided by client demand, with commonly used/requested systems addressed first and additional integrations developed over time.

Given that many software providers are still finalising their AML solutions, integration timelines will depend on the readiness of each partner platform. Kloud Connect noted that inclusion in its current list of discussions does not guarantee immediate integration, and firms are encouraged to share their preferred providers to help shape prioritisation.

Alongside integrations, Kloud Connect is investing in workflow enhancements within its platform to simplify the identification of designated services and improve the end-to-end client experience. Early-stage pilots are currently underway with select firms to refine these processes and ensure they deliver both efficiency and compliance outcomes.

“We see our role as enabling firms to operationalise compliance within their day-to-day workflows, not replacing the systems that are designed to govern it,” Beck added.

Kloud Connect will continue to collaborate closely with clients and partners as the regulatory landscape evolves, and invites firms interested in participating in early discussions or pilots to engage with their Kloud Connect account manager.
